The affordable French jewelry I’ve fallen in love with…

…and the new fashionable scarves French women can't get enough of.

My last trip to Europe is when Frenchly Picked was born in my head. Hence the very few blog posts so far… My mom and I were doing some window shopping and I remarked again how unique and sophisticated the jewelry was over there. I’m always looking to wear pieces that are creative and elegant and boy was there a huge choice! So many new boutiques popped up in my hometown since my last visit! A few French jewelry and accessories brands caught my eye… and I caught the irresistible urge to make them available to the American market. Here are some of the lovely finds I made during my august visit. Tell me what you love so I can shop with you in mind during my next trip!

This particular collection is from the IKita brand and is exclusive to the French market. The pieces are made of durable stainless steel and produced in limited quantities. I will only bring back a handful with me so make sure to sign up for my newsletter to stay in the loop when new items drop!

“I love your earrings! Would you mind telling me where you got them???”

”I’m sorry darling but they’re from France…”

;)

Now that you have seen the jewelry I have fell in love with, let me tell you about my next « coup de cœur »!

Right now, no woman in Belgium or France will succumb to the irresistible trend of the “multi-patterned scarf”… Ah yes, of course the French are already used to wearing scarves daily, no matter their age or gender! So, inevitably, they had to diversify with whacky new ideas.

My childhood friend, Allison, is modeling some of the scarves I had in mind for you…

Allison has her own boutique in Belgium. She was a huge inspiration for me and I will be partnering with her to bring you irresistible Frenchly Picked accessories.

Take a look at her boutique;

Scarves are the easiest and most versatile accessory. They transform your outfit and add a touch of class.

Here are a few ways you could choose to wear a smaller scarf (even more versatile).

When shopping for a scarf, remember that the feel and quality of the fabric is just as important as the pattern. If it scratchy or doesn't wash well, you won't want to wear it!

Frenchly Picked for you this week;

here are 3 scarves I love!

$11 H&M floral scarf

$7 Target small silk scarf

$22 Monet painting on a scarf

Next week, I will share a few winter/holidays outfits, where I shopped and how to accessorize a winter dress.
